Anyone had small fiber neuropathy progress to large fiber neuropathy?

I have been suffering small fiber neuropathy for almost Six years. Now my symptoms are getting worse, my pain is increasing in legs and hands and I walk as if a a was walking on cotton. I have anEMG on tuesday november 3rd. I cross my fingers. Anyone has experienced this progression from small to large?

Have you noticed that symptoms are going up your arms and legs? Getting an EMG is a good next step.
