Sleep ear buds for nighttime tinnitus sound??
Anyone have experience using the ear buds for lack of a better word for tinnitus at night. I have no hearing loss but it is all the time but I can usually deal with it during the day but at night I presently have the sound machine and rain which is great but I have to sleep separately from my husband as he snores at times and I actually have really great hearing so am thinking I need something in the ear!! Thanks for any input!

...... husband and I slept in separate rooms for decades..., due to his snoring or at one time mine... I used to use ear buds or whatever when I went to sleep for many years but was mainly because of depression: the situation changed and long story short i have lots of illnesses and tinnitus and some hearing loss, but also hyperacusis and musical ear syndrome..Ugh
Currently I put my ipad on pillow next to me in bed and use You tube (used to be cassette tapes, then cds, now you tube) and i pay $14 canadian a month for no ads. I then searched for Meditations with "voice only" .... I dont use headphones or earbuds as no need to with bedroom door closed. I have discovered as I pay per month for Premium that I can LOOP the video and now I play one not too loud) continuously . It has helped me but I can understand why it's not everyones choice. This way when I wake up multiple times a night I am not searching for different Meditations I dont mind hearing the same one over and usually fall asleep half way through....
sorry it is such a long answer but some of these "videos" are very very helpful and i no longer need earbuds etc as alone in my bedroom.
I cannot listen to rain, thunder, musical notes.. just voice.
I still wonder if all those years with tinymicrophones in my ears caused some ofmy current issues ???
