Anyone have skin lesions related to sarcoidosis? What helps?
i was diagnosed with sarcoidosis in 2001, i had big swollen lymph nodes throughtout my body, was given prednisone & like magic everything reduced & all seemed fine, about 10 years later the skin lesions started first on my head then on my face.
the worst ones are over my eye brows & my earlobes.
its embarrassing. ive tried cortizone creams & injections, they didn't work, my concern now is that its starting to expand & i cant stop it,
any thoughts on what i could try would be appreciated, thank you.

VM, I can understand that you are concerned about the lesions spreading. According to Mayo Clinic, medications like medicines such as methotrexate (Trexall) and azathioprine (Azasan, Imuran) lessen inflammation by lowering the immune system's response to a trigger. Hydroxychloroquine (Plaquenil) may be helpful for skin lesions and high blood-calcium levels. Have any of these medications been suggested for you?
Im having issues and trying to figure out what's going on and dr's haven't been much help. I get leisons in the same place as you, what do yours look like as I suspect autoimmune disease like sarcoidosis or rheumatoid arthritis or celiac disease
