Silly question about drinking fountains at Mayo Phoenix site

Posted by mrsjenko @mrsjenko, 1 day ago

Hi all--well the first day-long evaluation visit is next week (yay!) and I'm being the control enthusiast I am in planning the visit--if we can't control the kidneys, we can control everything else, right? 😉 My question is for those of you who have visited the Phoenix site or have some knowledge of it--are the drinking fountains there the traditional, grade-school, bend down to slurp kind, or are they the newer ones that have a touch-free dispenser for refilling water bottles (and hopefully, larger bottles)? Thank you so much!

I do not have the answer to your specific question but can tell you that at any desk in the building you can ask for a bottle of water. It will be given to you (free of course) and at many desks they will ask "cold or at room temperature?" with a smile. Access to drinking water is not something to worry about but good for you for thinking about staying hydrated through the day.
