Side effects adding XTANDI to ORGOVYX
Who is taking both Xtandi and Orgovyx and what are the side effects of adding Xtandi to Orgovyx. I am asking this question on behalf of my friend. who recently started taking Xtandi in addition to Orgovyx.
He was Gleason 8 and had RP March 2020 and was following Intermittent ADT based on the advice of his doctor.

I'm on something similar since 2021, Erleada (Apalutamide) + Orgovyx, and I find it difficult to tell the symptoms apart. Most of the side-effects come from low/no testosterone, which you already have with Orgovyx.

After 2 years on Orgovyx my PSA number started rising when my Oncologist added Xtandi to my regimen. The side effects, as predicted, are extreme fatigue. I take the Xtandi with the Orgovyx at 10:00 pm. In the beginning, the fatigue would start by 6:00pm the following day. Recently, it has begun as early as 1:00pm the following day. Try as I have, I have no explanation for this change.
Once the fatigue begins I cannot sit in a chair to watch television, or read a book with dozing off immediately. This happens regardless of having slept for 7 hours the previous night.
After my last blood work up the PSA number had risen to 2.9 .
I am not sure what’s next, but I would love to avoid Chemo.
