Should we get the new Covid shot while on prednisone?

I am weaning down on prednisone for my PMR and doing well, currently at 22 mgs. My rheum thinks it is 50-50 whether to get the new Covid vaccine or not, but he is "leaning toward" me getting the shot. Apparently prednisone cuts its effectiveness. So I am curious what advice other PRM patients on prednisone are getting on this issue. Thanks!
