Should I be concerned if I empty my bladder < 10x a day?

How many times is too many? I’ve been having flank/abdominal pain as well.

@ferr Is it painful when you empty your bladder? I had flank and abdominal pain when I had a kidney stone. The stone was very large and attached to the wall of my kidney so I couldn’t pass it. I’m not sure of the sequence of what happened but I do know I’d had many, many UTI’s over the years and this pain was very different. Could you have kidney stones?

No pain before/during, or after. Ive also had a lot of UTIs due to family genetics, I’ve only had one silent UTI.
I had an ultra sound in February that came back clean, but it’s been a min so I could’ve developed one? I see a doctor Friday

@ferr It’s good that you have a medical appointment for Friday. If you didn’t have this pain or frequent urination in February perhaps your doctor will order another given your current symptoms?

@ferr Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. Yes, indeed, an infection can cause increased emptying of your bladder, as can changes in medications, presence of stones, or even diet. With your appointment on Friday, I hope some concerns get answered! Like @naturegirl5 mentioned, have you been able to recall when the symptoms started, and written down your thoughts? Sometimes when we get to the office, we forget important details, so taking a bit of time now might help you give all the information you want to pass on to your doctor.

Will you let me know what happens at the appointment, please?
