Severe tinnitus started gradually

It's easy to tell my story with this debilitating, disabling condition but it's quite a long story so the detailed history will be shared.

Suffice it to say that constant tinnitus with me started in 2010 just as the new year was beginning. It had been intermittent before that.

It affects your concentration, mood and many other things. The "Tinnitus Handicap Inventory" administered and scored by my doctor in August of 2015 showed a score of 82 or "Catastrophic: Always heard, disturbed sleep patterns, difficulty with any activities"

If the THI were taken again today, perhaps the score would be " better" as the tinnitus seems to have abated somewhat over the years.
