Severe numbness in hands from neuropathy
I have such numbness in my fingertips and pins and needles in my hands. They are slippery when handling things and they feel like they have bumpy nodules all over them. We tried increasing my pregabalin but this made no difference. Does any one else have this issue and if so what can help this. I am dealing daily with the mental aspect of this. It never goes away and this is so discouraging for me. While I am not in pain with this other than some burning discomfort at times, it affects other aspects of my life. I do hope someone is out there who can help me.

I have the exact same problem in my hands and fingers on both sides. I also have pain in addition to the numbness and tingling. I'm having cervical surgery in New Orleans on April 17th. I am hopeful that the surgery will help somewhat. I hope you find an answer.
Thank you for telling me I am not alone with this. People see my hands and they look normal to them. They are so far from that. Every day I wake up and pray for any difference that makes them better but non seems to be coming. Please stay in touch with me and tell me if your surgery helped. I truly hope it works for you. If anything comes along that works for this I will keep you notified.
Have a happy and blessed Easter.
Nice to connect!
I will definitely stay in touch and let you know how things go. Please do the same for me. In the meantime I am doing whatever I can to alleviate some of the discomfort. First thing I am doing is alternating ice packs and hot packs wrapped around my neck 20 minutes on 20 minutes off starting with ice first. I generally find I need to do two full cycles but then there is some relief. I'm also taking numerous forms of non-narcotics including THC and CBD. Although I take quite a bit, it definitely works to a degree. I use 100 mg gummy bears CBD and will take one or two of those. I also use a very potent tincture that is sublingual. Two droppers is all I need generally. This is all in addition to medical marijuana that I receive in Mississippi. I am very interested in a topical form of CBD that you can apply to both the neck and the hands. If you would like more information about any of these things just let me know. I hope you have a very happy Easter! God bless you!
I have Raynaud's disease, and I have a lack of circulation to my hands, they are frequently white to the knuckles. I find that the compression gloves are a great help. You can buy them with the open finger tips which allows you to work. The gloves also keep the hands warm, which helps a great deal. The gloves are very inexpensive and you might give them a try.
That’s a great idea, thank you. I will try that for sure!
Thank you for the info that works for you. I live in Canada and as far as I know we can’t get the gummies with enough of the the thc to make a difference I tried what I could get and they did nothing for me. I bought this massager for my hands. It works while I’m using it but once I finish my hands go back to the way they were. I wish you all the best and if I encounter a remedy for this I will let you know.
I have Numbness in fingers in both hands from a break in my spine c2 and t2, I am always trying to keep my hands warm either a heating pad.I wonder if the compression gloves would work. Any help from anyone ?
I also have a fracture of the fifth lumbar rib, and a spinal fracture of the 6th vertebrae, But I have had Raynauds since I was very young, so I doubt the fractures are causing my Raynaud's,but the compression gloves are very inexpensive (about $15.00) and it might be worth a try. The other thing I have done is to make a small pouch, fill it with rice, and microwave for 30 seconds. I put these in my pockets for a quick source of heat I can take anywhere. Hope this helps.
Thank you for replying to me. I will definitely get some gloves and try them. I am desperate for a solution to this problem.
The numbness I can tolerate. It’s the feeling of having bumps that I can roll around with my fingers that bother me more. It’s upsetting to my mental health because it never goes away and I am constantly moving my fingers around subconsciously now. I am willing to try anything . If I find a solution to this I will keep everyone informed.
