I started walking 2-4 miles a day on March 10th and today is May 28th and I still have severe foot pain. Shouldn't this be letting up a little by now?

Hi, good for you for starting a walking program; I also walk a couple of miles a day. Agree you shouldn't be in severe foot pain. Probably not but could it be the shoes? I one wore bad shoes for a few weeks and the plantar fasciitis was so painful that it hurt to walk for months. Other conditions can cause bad foot pain–hammertoes, heel spurs, bursitis, neuropathy. Or maybe something else. Tell us more?
