Seven Questions Regarding PMR
1. When was PMR first identified and diagnosed in the US?
2. How many people in the USA have been diagnosed with PMR since it was discovered?
3. Are there any big pharma companies developing drugs or treatments, or conducting clinical trials for PMR?
4. Is PMR considered to be a physical or neurological condition?
5. If Tramadol proves effective for PMR pain, why not rotate using this medication every 5 to 7 days to mitigate the side effects of Prednisone?
6. Is there a correlation between increased barometric pressure or high humidity and PMR?
7. Are there any data sets for PMR age, race, treatment, medication, remission, reoccurrence, and geography in the USA?

Thanks for posting this which initiated Mike's sending us to the Georgetown doc's PMR video. Super informative and now I understand why the muscle soreness is gone (2 months on decreasing pred and 1 month on Kevzara) but my hip bursa aches. And why my rheumatologist has ordered a MRI to check it out!!
GREAT VIDEO - completely describes what happened to me. As a 70-year-old male in great shape, I worked out and mountain biked every day - then bam, my life is turned upside down. I am hopeful with the advent of 'AI medicine' and 'space medicine' that a cure or long-term treatment w/o pred will be found. :0 !!
