Rise in PSA after 4 years on ADH & Zytiga

My first post with this group. My PS has been.007 undetectable for 4 years. It has now rose to .19 .
Dr ordered a PSMA scan and it came back negative. I have since learned that my PSA was probably to low to show cancer. Retesting PSA after 4 weeks. Looking for advice on next step for 1 if PSA continues to rise. 2 if no continue rise what might have caused the rise. I have an appointment with MD Anderson in Jacksonville Fl in 3weeks. Thanks in advance for you help.

I'm on Zytiga Prednisoneand Lupron( 6 weeks). Doc says 2 yrs. duration . My psa is already close to undetectable . I was hoping to have Doc declare REMISSION next year and allow me to take a break and let the body recover from zytiga and Prednisone and lupron side effects.
I am surprised by 4 yrs of treatment. There are some studies showing a build up of resistance to Zytiga and Lupron. This allows PC cells to start dividing and growing into tumors. This maybe what is going on in your situation.
I fully expect that my prostate cancer will regenerate at some point. My hope is to have remission provide some quality time before recurrence.

Yes. Very lucky with 4 years onADH. My Gleason score was 9 also so very aggressive. Will see what next PSA shows
