Anyone get relief from cbd? Gabapentin freaks me out - legs feel like wood and hard to move

I've never tried CBD. What helped me was daily iron intake to raise ferritin level. This is what is recommended as a first-line treatment by the Restless Leg Syndrome experts. http://www.rls.org

Hello @molly7234 and welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. I understand you are looking for alternative options to gabapentin for your restless legs. Do you know of the link between magnesium deficiency and restless legs? When was the last time you had your magnesium levels checked?

I've used Trazedone for last 14 yrs. Still works wonderfully. 400 MG bedtime.

Thanks, helps with sleep as well?

I take trazodone 100mg every night and it does help with restless legs. I bet increasing dose would help as I still have it occasionally. I recently started medical cannabis. I’m currently getting chemo for pancreatic cancer so I’m pretty messed up.

I believe iron levels are also important.

I am taking Ropinirol. Started at low dose and slowly increased to a moderate dose. Hardly ever experience RLS.

I use life flow, magnesium lotion. Massage it into my calves, and on my feet at night. From Amazon, inexpensive, and seems to take care of my restless legs.
Wishing you calm nights…

[Oops, disregard this. I see now you already mentioned the brand name!]
Which brand do you use? There are so many on Amazon. I get overwhelmed reading the reviews.

I’ve used Trazadone for last 25 years for my restless legs. If you take it on an empty stomach, it’ll put you to sleep
