The George Washington University, with the support of the National Institute of Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIDCD), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), is carrying out studies on speech recognition training. The purpose of the research is to develop effective methods for training lipreading for adults with hearing loss.
