Repeated PEs

Hi! I’m 64 and have been dealing with repeated episodes of pulmonary embolisms since the first occurrence following Covid in 2022. Twice I was able to have procedures to remove them but this time I can’t because of where they are located. Hence, I’m on Enoxaparin injections 2x daily.

I’m miserable. My shortness of breath is severe and significantly impacts my quality of life. I’m unclear if this will resolve anytime soon.

Has anyone else been experiencing this?

Lease ask your pulmonologist about pulmonary rehab. I don't know if they offer it for this issue but it is worth trying. It will give you strategies for managing while the clots resolve.
