Has anyone had SBRT after prostate cancer recurrence post IMRT?

I had a radical prostatectomy and then radiation 7 years later, for a recurrence. I was in remission for 2 years after that, and now I’m on my 2 nd recurrence. Watching and waiting for next treatment 😬😬😬

What is the average effectiveness of Enzalutamide or Xtanda? Anyone on it for 3 or more years? What is next if it stops?

I took Xtandi for 26 months. I did great but after 9 months off it, my PSA went from undetectable to 1.1. A PSMA PET SCAN showed the reason: a 9 mm paraortic lymph node. I was in remission for 4 years. Getting spot radiation next week. 5 sessions only. We got to be resilient. PC will not leave you alone. At least in my case. Xtandi is a great drug.

I should say after 9 months OFF IT.

My psa went down from 9.8 to 1.7 in 2 Mos
Now 2.3 in next 3 months Is that a concern

Yes. It could be. Every time the PSA goes up it may signal spread . The good news is that is unlikely to be due to bone Mets with a PSA that low. A PSMA PET SCAN is needed. It detects small metastatic lesions better than other tests. Or your doctor may repeat PSA to see it keeps rising. Best to you. Stay strong.
