Recovery timeline following AUS

What was your recovery from the AUS procedure like? If you had previously had radiation treatment for prostate cancer, how did that affect the AUS procedure?

Another question.... with the AUS, can you wear jeans?
I've been wearing trackpants since the prostatectomy because jeans don't fit with the fairly bulky pads.

My experience is that after any major surgery I just had to see what works best for me.
With the weight gain (actually weight shift from muscle to a fatter belly & ass) because of the Lupron I got some 'loose fit' jeans and or a size larger.
Don't we usually deal with whatever the surgery is first then adjust from there?
Whatever works for you is the best choice.
May it all go well, complete, and care-free for you.

Also, since the AUS is like a 'pacemaker' for my bladder, I have to be mindful of how close I am to a microwave oven or if an old airplane is flying low overhead. (not ! ) LMAO

This is the 2nd time it's happened, so it must be true.... your mood really does lift the moment you receive a surgery date. The waiting really is the hardest part.So for those who are stuck in an endless wait & feeling down about it - as soon as you get an actual date, everything's rosy.I'm having my AUS installed June 2nd.That's the day after King's Birthday, so an extra-long holiday, for me.I've read anywhere between 2 weeks & 4 weeks off work. What's the recovery time for others?
