Recommendations for Wigs?

Posted by medtech4 @medtech4, Jan 18 4:45pm

Does anyone have any experience with wigs? I noticed small clumps of my hair falling out while washing and drying my hair last night. I thought maybe I'd escape that, but guess not. There are some seemingly reputable companies online but I have no one to rely on for a referral.

I lost my hair during chemo for breast cancer. As soon as hair started coming out, I had my head shaved and got a wig at Mayo store in Rochester, which my insurance paid for. It really helped to try on and get their advice.

Contact your local cancer society. They should be able to make some referrals for you.
