Reclast or Prolia-side effect concern
63 y.o. Female. Discontinued Fosamax after 9 months due to sudden onset of severe acid reflux. Symptoms alleviated after several months post Fosamax. Working with a Rheumatologist to decide between Reclast and Prolia. I am asking if anyone with reflux issues have been on Reclast and experienced symptoms, even though it bypasses the GI tract? In terms of the Prolia, one side effect mentioned are UTI and bladder symptoms. Anyone experienced those symptoms on Prolia?
Thank you.

I have been diagnosed with Acid reflux/Gerd last August 2025, I have also been dealing with Osteoporosis ( eyears). I am a 58 year old woman and have always watched my health and took priority in that. I have been a little depressed with all of this. I have been going crazy with this Acid reflux/changing my diet etc. However, three days ago I go the Reclast Infusion for my Osteoporosis and within a few days I feel my Acid reflux has definitely gotten better. I was surprised when I looked it up on here today that patients actually take the Reclast for Acid Reflux. Can this be true? But i was told I can only do this infusion for about 3 years. ??
