How much does it cost to get a Reclast infusion?

Interested in more discussions like this? Go to the Osteoporosis & Bone Health Support Group.

I'm curious what members of this support group have paid. I'm sure it varies a lot based on location and insurance. Hopefully, some will share their costs.

In the meantime, here's some info that I found which may be helpful.

1. Average Cost: I discovered a breakdown of the average cost for Reclast (which combines medicine and infusion service) on howmuchisit.org. While I can’t guarantee the current accuracy, it might still give you some insight into the cost. The typical range for an infusion session is $4,000 to $9,000 without insurance. https://www.howmuchisit.org/reclast-infusion-cost/

2. Medicare Coverage: If you’re curious about Medicare coverage, there’s a post on medicareadvantage.com that provides information on how much Medicare covers. https://www.medicareadvantage.com/rx-coverage/reclast

3. Additional Resources: Last October, a blog post with links to several YouTube videos discussed this topic. https://www.ncesc.com/how-much-does-reclast-infusion-cost/
