Raynaud's and Nifedipine

Has anyone been prescribed Nifedipine for relief of their Raynaud's?
I'll be taking my first dose of Nifedipine tomorrow morning, and would like to know what to expect. I went to my cardiologist first to see if would cause problems to the heart. She took me of Cardizem, increased my Metoprolol dose, and added a daily Nif. dose.

My husband takes it once a day. Right after taking it his legs and feet get red from the blood vessels dilating. He also complained of a dull headache every day so the doctor told him he could take it before bed and that seems to help. It has really helped him though, Good luck.
