Rash on Throat and Burning Sore Throat and Burping?

Today I have a rash on the front of my throat (lots of red dots spread out across the front and sides of my neck and burning sore throat and burping.

Any idea what this could be? Is it related to Gerd or Respiratory Reflux? I am taking Pepcid and Reflux Gourmet as needed. I have been off of Prilosec for about 1 1/2 weeks (and had been on it for about 6 weeks). Could this be Strep Throat or some sort of Yeast or Infection?

S0unds like an allergic reaction to something....but, I could be wrong. The burping could be from reflux. I would see my primary doctor or Gastroenterologist ASAP.

Covicstinks is right. It does sound like you have an allergic reaction to something. See your doctor as soon as you can. In the meantime, I would suggest gargling with Listerine for your sore throat. Use the original one; not the new flavored ones. They don't work well. I gargle with Listerine often and I never have sore throats anymore. It gets rid of germs very effectively.
I'll say a prayer for you also.
