Rash on my 11 yr old torso, back,upper arms
Wednesday my daughter alerted me to small pink round rash spots or her lower torso. We put some allergy cream on it, but then she didn’t mention it. As of yesterday m, these spots are on her torso, back, front upper arm. Front upper arm has some pustules with clear fluid. All I can think of is we tried on dresses for an upcoming dance Monday. But school tomorrow so trying to figure out what type of rash and is it contagious?

I'm no rash expert, but 30 years ago, I wore a new blouse that I didn't wash first and got a contact rash. The rash was a million little bumps everywhere the blouse touched me. So long ago. I believe they were red. I don't recall any fluid, but it was so long ago. It itched like crazy and took ten days to go away. If a contact rash then that wouldn't be contagious. I was told it was dyes/chemicals they use to make fabric. If she did get the rash from trying on dresses, I guess you would also have to consider that someone else trying them on may have had something contagious. How unfortunate whatever it is. Good luck! I hope it goes away quickly and is not contagious.
