How long ago was that biopsy? It should not raise it permanently. Also ask for a PSE or ISOPSA test, that should give you more information if PCa is likely.

I have not heard or read that a biopsy would raise PSA. Nevertheless, a PSA of 11 is worrisome. You should ask for an MRI to get more information. In fact, even though it's too late for you, these days, an MRI is recommended prior to a biopsy.

It’s already mentioned you can get an MRI to see if there is a need for a biopsy or get a PSE test which can tell you whether or not there is a reason for a biopsy cause they found cancer.

I’ve had three biopsies and they were not a big deal. Maybe you need to find a different doctor to do the biopsy, Some doctors will put you under for it

I can add that there are two techniques for a prostate biopsy; the 'classical' transrectal one and the transperineal one. These days, the latter is the preferred one (lower chance of infection) but 'old school' urologists may not be proficient.

Yes, all the poking and prodding could cause a raise after the fact, but surely not for longer than 6 weeks or so.
How long has it been elevated and how does it fit with a biopsy you had 5 years ago??
If it’s been 5 yrs since that biopsy and it is NOW 11, you need a much closer look!

What was the Pirads score of the original MRI? Did the biopsy reveal only normal cells ?
I agree with the other posters that PSA of 11 warrants a second look.
Keep in mind that low grade PC does not always image well on MRI’s and for about 10% of us even highgrade PC does not image well. Prostate cancer tends to evolve and your PSA check engine light in my opinion is on.
