Hello, asolidrock,
I was unable to have a radical prostatectomy due to other health issues so I had 4 months of ADT (Orgovyx) and 40 sessions of lower dose radiation. Despite having the SpaceOar gel, the radiation tech managed to burn my colon. Although it showed up clearly on a CT scan, the burn must have been fairly minor because pain did not last more than a week or so. Seemed to heal up. I had significant trouble urinating at night. Wound up taking Tamsulosin for awhile which helped some. Problem stopped shortly after treatment ended. I had significant constipation due to radiation. Used Senna. Wish I had known about VSL#3 probiotic food. The radiation cratered my energy. Orgovyx was not too bad but did send my Cholesterol very high. And I have coronary artery disease so unfortunate. After the Orgovyx was over, pretty much everything returned to normal within a month or two, including sex drive. I have had two three-month PSA's. The numbers look good. Good luck to you!
Hi - I finished 28radition sessions in August. The main issue I had was gas and they won't treat you if gas is present. Unless you're the exception, most only can get thru it by taking gas x daily (4) and an occasional enema. That was my experience - Good health and G.L
