RA and neuropathy
Prior to my symptoms and diagnosis a year ago for RA, I had very mild neuropathy in both feet. Last fall the neuropathy got worse and now the numbness has climbed to my hip on the left and just above my knee on the right. There is NO pain other than an occasional brief electrical shock. I have not discussed this with my rheumatologist as I worry about adding more specialists and costs to my already full card. I’m 76 with end stage emphysema, active RA, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis with my neuropathy and trying to survive on Social Security. How does this bode for my future?

Welcome @dianec48, I'm sorry to hear you are having to deal with the neuropathy numbness along with your other conditions. It's good to hear that at least you are not having pain with your neuropathy. I don't think you are alone and hoping others that can share their experience with you. I don't think there is anyone including the smartest doctor that really can know what the future holds for us other than a guess based on your current medical conditions.
