@morristhecat Oh, I love your ‘name’! Have you seen your primary care doctor about all these symptoms? That needs to be your first step. Advocate for yourself, don’t take ‘no’ for an answer. Try to keep a daily log for a few weeks. Make note of weight loss; how frequent the cough is; how much you drink during the day and how much you pee. This gives you some data when you see the doctor
Will you let me know what the doctor says?
Thank u for responding and Ill right whats happening everyday! Thank you for ur support!
Hi @morristhecat, I add my welcome. I moved your questions to the Head & Neck Cancer support group (https://connect.mayoclinic.org/group/head-neck-cancer/) so you can meet others with tongue cancer like @alpaca @mojo244 @loli @calenbd.
I agree with @becsbuddy about keeping a log of your symptoms. Have you recently had treatment? Is your oncologist aware of the symptoms you're experiencing?
Yes and he took a picture of it also and told him many times it hurts he suggested my tooth was hitting it went to Dentist n Ia City Hosp and they sd to i might be chewing when I sleep and to get a guard for my teeth Sports guys wear them in their mouth but I have such a dry mouth i cant put it in so I was going threw some tough times and dint go back
Hi, I’m 6 months post treatment and started using the attached spray I found on Amazon at about month 4. It’s not a perfect solve but a small win, it helped me relieve some of the constant dry mouth.
