Question about constant utis or what they say isn't a uti now
I have been having issues with what seems to be utis for the last five years I'm always treated system go away then boom right bk. Since January of this year I been having back pain chills fevers burning pain feeling like I have to pee all the time some times a foul strong brain smell. I was treated for bacteria infection last month got the same problem back after taking bactrum now here we are again but they say it's not a uti. So what can be going on. I'm not diabetic.

I hope your doctor is doing a culture as well as the quick dip stick. The culture takes a few days and tells you what antibiotics are sensitive to the culture. ( what antibiotic will work) The culture also tells you what antibiotics will not work for the UTI you currently have. Back pain/chills/fever indicate it may have gone to your kidneys. This is very serious. You should get an appointment with a Urologist to do further testing and explain what is going on and develop a plan. If typical UTI symptoms plus back pain/fever/chills, you should go to the ER or urgent care.
My mother had frequent UTI's that her GP constantly prescribed the same antibiotic without sending it out for a culture so her UTIs never went away. My father had a catheter and went undiagnosed with a UTI that went into sepsis and he died. UTI's are serious especially if they occur frequently.
