psoriasis

Was having multiple diagnosis of SCC and then 3 areas diagnoses by biopsies as psoriasis. This I was told a auto immune disease.

I am new to this diagnosis (this month) and quite concerned about prognosis. I was given a steroid cream to use but I do not have any itching or discomfort from the sites. Just red patch of skin that crust over.

Any advice and experience would help. Hard enough dealing with having multiple skin cancers with on going MOHS surgery for them.

I would have the biopsies checked by another well respected academic medical center. I was always told that biopsies are the gold standard but I had a skin condition that was biopsied followed by an incorrect diagnosis. Took 3 years to get the correct diagnosis.
