Pseudomonas putida treatment!

Hi! So a while back I got a cyst thing on my inner thigh and I went to the dermatologist. The lab results came back with this bacteria. She injected the bump with a steroid three times, but I still feel it really deep in my thigh. I also have a lot of breakouts on my butt and I think they are similar. There is a river behind my house that me and my dog sit next to, so I’m assuming this is how this happened? I was reading some other posts and I also had frequent sinus infections before going on adderall (I stopped because of anxiety I don’t know if that was a coincidence but the timing was super close). I really want to get this treated because it’s just super embarrassing and I have enough things going on. It’s a huge confidence killer. What kind of doctor would I even go to for this? I have Medicaid so I know this is probably going to be pretty impossible. Any advice is appreciated thank you so much for your time!

Time for a second opinion. See a new dermatologist if you find one who
accepts Medicaid. If that doesn’t work try consulting infectious disease.

Hi! I don’t know if you’ll see this but I went to another dermatologist. She said it was normal even after I showed her the lab results, which was very confusing. And then she said to ignore it. I’m not sure what I should do next. She said it was treated, so even though I still feel the bump inside of my leg it would be more troublesome to remove it. I don’t really care about the removal I just want to know if this is causing or going to cause me harm. I feel like seeing an infectious disease specialist would put my mind at ease but I’m also worried about how expensive that might be. Thanks for your advice!
