Your PSA Trends after Salvage Radiation & 6 Months of Orgovyx?

Undetectable at 3 month test during and 6 month post ADT and salvage. Going in for 1 year in July. I skipped 9 month as I felt it is over testing. I more than likely wouldn't treat again until my psa rises between 1&2 as most scanning wouldn't find it at .2. GU told me to come back at see him at 2 as they would have a better chance of actually seeing where it is and getting it. Granted this isn't for everyone but quality of the life I have left is very important to me. My philosophy is, all I have is today and I want to live it to the fullest. Nothing is promised.

@jeffmarc For me, incontinence started about 7 years after my salvage radiation in 2013. On the plus side, without ADT, PSA steadily decreased from about .6 to .022 in 2022 (slow increase since to .05-.07 range; we're watching it). So, at age 74, I guess if I have to choose, I'd opt for damp drawers over aggressive recurrence.

I had an AUS (Artificial urinary sphincter) Installed on June 4 and activated on July 10. I am 100% Continent and do not have to wear anything in my underwear anymore. It was quite aggravating over the years to have to put up with leaking when I had no idea how much it would leak, Sometimes way too fast.

They do have to put you under for it, But you recover very quickly. I was 78 when I had it done. The only problem was sitting down, since they put stitches in the perineum. You have to sit very carefully. They have another opening in the stomach, but it heals very quickly, No real pain. It was well worth it.
I no longer have to wear black pants everywhere. I can go anywhere without worrying about, am I going to start leaking too much.

There are definitely solutions to damp drawers. If you have not had radiation, you can have ProACT Which is much simpler.

Interesting. Another fellow in our support group (who is about 80 also) just had that done. He had been terribly bothered by incontinence for a couple of years. He is absolutely raving about the results. He's in 7th heaven. If it gets much worse, i will consider. Question: Any idea how sexual activities are impacted by an AUS? Better? Worse? No discernable impact?
