PSA Level went down after prostate biopsy
I had an elevated PSA of 10.5 a week before my prostate biopsy. At my consult at UF Proton this week, they asked me to get another PSA test for updated numbers. The problem was that after a prostate biopsy, it can take up to six weeks for PSA numbers to return to normal, since biopsies elevate PSA due to inflammation, etc. It's only been three weeks since my biopsy. My results, which were from the same lab, came back 21% lower (8.3). I have been on keto and a host of supplements and a regular exercise routine. Has anyone experienced this?

It is possible you have BPH Which can raise the PSA but it will go back down if it gets better. There are many things that can cause the PSA to rise, Riding a bike before going in is one of them. Vigorous exercise, Having sexual relations all done shortly before the test.

1 Reaction@uriesou, what did the results of your biopsy indicate? Did you receive a diagnosis of prostate cancer?
That's not a significant drop and still well above normal and should be of concern. PSA's can bounce around. Like Colleen posted did you get results of biopsy?
