PSA at 74…. What are options?
I have had prostate cancer for 12 years; diagnosed as stage four in 2012. I’ve done lots of treatments and now Erleada and abuteriene …they and Lupron seem to have run their course. My doctor is suggesting nuclear medicine, Pluvicto?. Anybody else dealing with other medication‘s or Options. My PET scan shows lots of cancer involvement in my spine. I am starting to worry.

My father (85 years old) just finished a course of the nuclear medicine and found that it performed better than expected. It really targeted the cancer, which is throughout his body now. He was diagnosed with pc at age 65 (Stage 4). He had RALP, followed by radiation, chemo, hormone therapy, and nuclear. (I may be missing some treatments.). The nuclear medicine will make you tired, but my father says it was work it. Good luck!
Thank you so much!
Good info! Especially relevant to my situation
Obviously, if you have another condition like diabetes or celiac disease, you'll be following the guidelines for that.
But from everything I've read (as a layperson) — including Dr. Walsh's book — there's no "Prostate cancer diet" or set of supplements discovered so far that make any proven difference in progression or long-term survival.
It seems that a healthy diet for us is exactly the same as a healthy diet for someone without cancer. The "healthy" part just matters a little more, since many prostate-cancer treatments can increase the risk of diabetes and heart disease.
Start looking at mushrooms. Did you ever get your PSA back down to zero? Just being nosy.
Look at turkey tail mushrooms too
One more thing that I believe is crucial.
Access a channel called Gaia and if possible make sure that you see serious called "Missing Links" by Greg Bradden. It is 42 30 minute episodes which will change the way you look at yourself, your body as well as world. You can repeat any of us who you want until you understand it but he really is talking about a 10th grade high school level and you will have a basic understanding of quantum physics by the end of it. IT REALLY REALLY APPLIES to us but it might take 6 or 7 episodes for you to see that.
Age 80 bone mets only Xtandi then Xofigio and now chemo
What nuclear med did your dad have
I don't know the name of the med, but the process was this: They put markers in his blood to identify the cancer, then administered nuclear meds that targeted the markers. The results were good.
Boy I need this help find out
Was its Radium 223 called Xofigio I had 6 injections of that but my PSA kept rising to 41
