For those of you that have already had PRRT, was it done through a PICC line? Was it inserted the day before procedure or day of?

How long do you have to stay at hospital after the PRRT i am going to have first one end of month and just wondering?? Thanks. Kurt

You go home right after treatment but have radiation protocol for the next three days.

I took 50mg of Benadryl and I slept through the whole
Bring drinks snacks food you will get hungry
And slip on shoes or slippers you will have to pee a lot from the fluids
Flood yourself with fluids and rest for 3 days afterwards
You will be fine

3 ReactionsWorst thing that happened in my PRRT was my aunt dying during my last treatment and they couldn't phone me because of the rooms being lead lined. Missed the funeral too as I couldn't fly while still "radioactive".
