Prostatectomy And Incontinence: When can I expect it to improve?
Anyone have any experience with incontinence 2 weeks after prostatectomy.
I have read lot of men have little to no incontinence after prostatectomy.
I had NS Robotic Prostatectomy 2 weeks ago At Mayo but my incontinence is very bad and actually appears to be getting gradually worse each day. Obviously gravity is my friend at night but after I get up it returns with a vengeance.
All the information that I received from care team was to do the exercises but that hasn’t done anything to improve my issues

You are very early in your recovery and your pelvic floor muscles experienced a fair amount of trauma during the surgery. As a result, it is common to have incontinence this early in the recovery stage. As your body recovers continue with kegels, ensuring they are properly done, and your overall physical fitness. You should expect improvement in the 9-12 week timeframe and then further improvement thereafter. As others have written, if you do not begin to experience improvement, there are many available options.
