Prolia
Hi
I had my first prolia shot September 9th and ever since the second week I've been dizzy I'm wondering if anyone else has had this reaction.

my Mom has had degrees of dizziness for weeks, after the last 2 doses, that I've noticed.

or your dr should be able to.
if you've only had 1 dose, please consider getting good advice on having no more prolia,
or switching to a bisphosphonate for half a year then coming off osteoporosis drugs entirely;
if you continued prolia, you cannot safely stop taking it.
if it was me, i would run for my life, quit with the one dose and the dizziness.
i prop up my diet with healthy fats oils like butter, quality olive oil, avocado oil, boron supplement, eggs, filtered drinking water, some physical activity.
remove trip hazards from floor, ensure areas well lit when walking.

Hi
So I already decided I'm not doing another shot I don't see my endocrinologist until February. I'm going to email him and tell him how I'm feeling. I had to go on prolia because I was on zoldronic acid IV for 4 years and I have fractured twice in my spine. I'm in Canada so forteo I tried couldn't take Tymlos is not available a evenity is not covered so prolia was the next choice which they gave me jubonti. I am still recovering from breast cancer radiation 2 years ago I have osteoporosis that's what caused the fractures the radiation so I don't know where I stand as far as what I can do if I can go back to zoledronic acid acid or not.
wow you have had a lot going on and i was a bit simple with my reply.
a top specialist in Australia mentioned use of alendronate around 4 months after prolia dose, i.e at 5 months into the dose,
but again, your case is quite involved.
i wished that for my Mom but there isn't the expertise in this town to get her safely off pr*lia, in fact they had the opposite of expertise..
now she has to stay on it, not because it's helping, but because there's utter carnage if she stops.
best wishes with it ..!
