Progressive Vascular Leukoencephalopathy
My father (71 years old) has been diagnosed with progressive vascular leukoencephalopathy in 2019. His condition has been deteriorating year by year. He started walking poorly, and he has been experiencing falls for the past 6 months. He no longer leaves the house, is very depressed, and the situation is challenging. He has been prescribed aspirin and antidepressants. His biggest issue now is experiencing brain fog, especially when he's standing, somewhat less when sitting, and least when lying down. He also has difficulty concentrating and is constantly tense. He says it would be easier for him if the brain fog were reduced. Do you have any advice or medication that could help with this? Thank you very very much!
