Probiotic supplements

Hi all, I am interested in discussing probiotic health and what supplements you take. There are so many different ones on the market. I am totally confused.

My acupuncturist recommended the Jarro brand and instructed me to change the kind of probiotic or probiotic combo approximately every 30 days so that I get a wide range of probiotics and so that they can build up to healthy levels. I've read similar recommendations on the internet, but each body is different. So I'd check with your doc to see if they have any specific instructions for you.I attempted to try the Blue probiotic brand but I never received the shipment. They refunded my money easily after an email but never responded to me about what the shipment problem was. So I kinda got a shady vibe from them. If you buy over the internet, buy from a reputable site so that you can be sure of what you're getting. <br>

I'm not sure what kind of monthly antibiotics you're talking about- something taken once a month? That's definitely something to discuss with your health care provider. It may seem pointless, but I think a better way to look at it is from a balance perspective. Without the probiotics, your antibiotics will kill the good bacteria in your gut. Taking probiotics reinforces balance I'm your gut even if some of them are killed off by the antibiotics. I've heard that some doctors recommend taking the probiotics after a course of antibiotics is done, but if your antibiotic regimen is something like once a month, I would think consistent daily probiotics would still be beneficial. Note: I'm not a doctor. I'm drawing conclusions based on outside facts and assumptions I'm making from your single sentence question. So my advice could be worth exactly what you're paying for it. 🙂
