Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia and Fertility (Seeking Hope/Connection)

Hello everyone 👋,

I am a 30 year old female that was recently diagnosed with Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia. My husband and I were told this during incidental genetic testing upon trying to conceive. We were having difficulty and then suffered from 3 back to back chemical pregnancies.

I have tried scourging the internet for research around PCD and Fertility in women but unfortunately this is a very limited research area. The doctors feel confident we would be able to conceive with the help of IVF because everything else is “normal” just the cilia and transportation issue.

Looking to connect with anybody that has gone through IVF with the diagnosis of PCD. Any support or words of encouragement would be appreciated so I don’t feel like I am navigating these tough waters alone!
