Pre Vitrectomy Surgery Images

The day after my Cryotherapy (eye tear retinal surgery) with Gas bubble (pneumatic retinopexy,) my post-op visit saw a new tear and ordered a Vitrectomy for the next day. Is there any need to take new images or can the NEW (never met before) Surgen do the procedure with only a verbal update from the prior physician and what the via there hand-held tools?
