post surgical fatigue and lightheadedness
I had total knee replacement surgery almost two months ago. My knee is improving with physical therapy, but I am totally fatigued and lightheaded when I walk. All blood and other tests have been normal, yet the symptoms of fatiigue and dizziness persist. Any advice??

I am 12 weeks out after complete shoulder replacement and still in pain and in back pain
I had a tummy tuck & face-lift surgery in Thailand on 7th December 2024. The operation took 6 hours.
It has been over 2 months, I still feel dizzy & fatigue.
I am worried that it might be infections or something but after reading many comments, it seems like a side effects from that surgery.
I feel so frustrated feeling sick, not being myself.
You are probably still taking narcotics for pain control. Time them wisely. By 2 months, I pretty much only used them before PT, and some to help sleep at night. Write a schedule and adhere to it.
Take care of your nutritional needs. Increase your proteins, and make sure you have eaten before therapy.
2 months out from a huge surgery is not abnormal to feel tired for sure. It was a major assault on your body and will take up to a year to recover from. Listen to your body. Do something fun to take your mind off of the process. Best wishes.
