Post HOLEP clots

I had holep in Nov 2023. The surgery went well and I hardly noticed any bleeding in the first 3-4 month after. However now 8 months later I am noticing periodic clots in my urine. Wondering if this is delayed healing and if anyone else had a similar experience.

Eight months post operatively and now having clots periodically is a little odd. You’ve got a periodic bleed somewhere I’m guessing. Can you try to increase your intake of water when you see this? I’m also wondering when you see these clots are they related to decreased fluid intake? Be more specific on how often this happens.

My water intake was about 30 oz a day. I was seeing a small clot approximately every 3 weeks. I recently increased my water intake to around 50 oz a day and so far urine is clear. But wondering how lacking water intake would cause small clots. Another factor was during holep the doctor found several stones which he removed.
