Post CAR-T IVIG Infusions

Posted by Bob, Alumni Mentor @grandpabob, Apr 6, 2020

I know the frequency and number of post Car - T treatment IVIG infusions can vary.
I am about 18 months post treatment. On average I receive an IVIG infusion every second month.
Protocol by provider, as I understand, differs as well.
As an example, at my treatment centre, the standard is six infusions (one per month) once the blood has tested low.

How many do you receive on average?

What is the frequency?

Hi - my son Greg had IVIG infusion at the Mayo and had a reaction to it. He also had one here in Winnipeg. He had a violent reaction - so they gave it to him in the form of self injections in his stomach teice
