Possible chronic mycoplasma pneumoniae?
Long story short I got sick about three years ago and have battled constant cycle of being sick and getting worse and worse then antibiotics and improving then symptoms coming back. My main symptoms are bone pain (aching and stabbing) headaches and general muscle pain. when it gets really bad I have issues with coordination like tripping on my own feet or snuggling to know where my feet are (if that makes any sense) ive had many tests and they have all come back clear except for minor vitamin things and mycoplasma pneumoniae. taken many different type of pain meds and nothing does anything except for antibiotics.
My doctors seem unconvinced that mycoplasma is causing it but the cycle of antibiotics continue and im worried that they will stop working or cause some sort of other damage, ive had one type stop working because of the amount of times ive started and stoped it. I currently run collegiate track despite the fact that it makes my symptoms so much worse, I understand that I shouldn't but no doctor has told me not to because they dont know what's wrong. if anyone has any ideas on what it might be or what I could do about it that would be helpful. im willing to try anything anything like diet or anything like that.
I recently moved for college and am having a horrible time trying to get a id doctors appointment despite having a referral from my old doctor. Im thinking of trying mayo again but worried ill go through the whole process and just be dismissed again on the basis of my tests being mostly normal and they just dont know or them thinking im being dramatic or its anxiety. I do what they tell me of pushing through the pain because that's how you have to get used to it but then they use that as an excuse to not see me or not try to help.
that's a lot so I apologize but any ideas are welcome
