Polymyalgia and "new " allergies.

I was diagnosed with PMR in March of 2019. Since then, I have gone into remission 3 or 4 times. I am currently in remission and not on Prednisone. 3 times this month I have been put into the hospital with serious, but not life threatening allergy symptoms. All 3 times I have been given a shot for allergies, and a shot of steroids'. All the times, the symptoms went away, and didn't come back until the next attack. I would get first, a pain in the middle of my chest, then I would start itching, then I would throw up and either pass out, or nearly pass out, and the itching would get intense to the degree that I felt like my skin was on fire. Has this happened to anyone else?? I have never been allergic to anything before and I am 76 years old.
