PMR relapse after a fall

I notice that some members of this group mentioned having a PMR flare after a fall and thought I would share this link to an NIH discussion about the incidence of PMR after falling. The article also contains information regarding prednisone tapering.

I looked at this with great interest as I was bucked off my horse on June 24th and had adrenal shock but no PMR relapse. (The bruising on the back of my right leg was very dramatic!) Reading all this, I think my constant use of MSM that down regulates IL6 probably saved me.
