Anyone had a trend of their platelets going too low? What action?

Has anyone had a trend of their platelets going down too low and what was the ourse of action or diagnosis?

My hematologist is the one who diagnosed my PNET due to extremely low platelet count. She ordered the CatScan which showed lesions on my liver than she ordered a MRI which showed NET
I have been on chemo for a year and a half...getting platelet shots all along..had radiation about a month ago..
past month they started really going down..up my shot and put me on four days of predinsone..which is not the greatest since I have an inslinoma..low blood sugars and predinsone spikes them..combination of the team trying to get things under control. Problem if the platlets dont comer up I cant have my chemo next week!!
