Pituitary microadenoma causing issues
Hello, I've been recently diagnosed with a pituitary tumor that they are saying measured 6mm on one scan. I'm still waiting on further testing with a specialist but my family doctor did some of hormone labs and found elevated TSH. I was already on steroids though so it's hard to tell if the cortisol level was correct. I ended up in the hospital in the with facial numbness, left sided weakness and numbness, severe migraine, my brain was really foggy, and my vision was double. Prior to this I've been treated for migraines for migraines by neurology and had already had issues with facial numbness. They found the 6mm tumor in the hospital and dismissed it and said everything was a complicated headache. The headaches are worse my memory is not great and I'm still having brain fog. I'm not understanding how this is not tumor related.
