Piolia shot
I have had one poilia shot and will not take anymore. I cannot take calcium supplements due to chronic chemical gastritis. I have gotten to the point where I am taking my rabeprazole-20 mg. every other day. I have to be so careful in what I eat. I am a brain tumor survivor, I have a torn flap on my left meniscus ( fell once) where I had to quit the stairmaster. I am doing the elliptical now-up to 20 minutes. I started drinking muscle milk in my non caffeine beverage which ha s 70% of the calcium I need for a day with some vitamin D3 in it. I have gotten a gum issue of overgrowth from the one shot. Both sides of tooth, front and back is the overgrowth. Must be cut out. I am trying muscle milk and I bought a vibrator that can stand on for 10 minutes a few times per week. Then try walking one or two days outside the pool. I also have a pinched nerve I am getting traction for in the Lumbar spine. I sit too much at the computer, etc. I am also doing some upper body weights to strengthen my upper traps, pecks, etc. Improving my posture. Any other suggestions. Thanks. My sleep also stinks.

basia1970: Did a dentist or doctor tell you that you have "gum issue of overgrowth?" I am asking because I have been on Prolia for 5 years and 6 months ago I noticed this, what you call overgrowth, enveloping 2 of my upper teeth. I went to my dentist and he checked it thinking it was an infection but said he couldn't find any symptoms/markers for that. I'd like to discuss this with the doctor who prescribes my Prolia injections at my next visit. It would be helpful if I am able to tell her that you were told by your dentist/oral surgeon that the overgrowth was a direct result of the Prolia injection. I also need to advise my dentist. Who told you that you needed to have the excess gum tissue cut out? It's so frustrating dealing with the side effects of any and all drugs we are prescribed.
