Percocet

Who has had experience with low dose percoset? I have a script for 5-325 taking a half pill. Did it make you tired? Could you still drive? Want relief but not to feel drugged. Many thanks all

Yes. Only works on surface pain. Mine is deeper. Wasn't a candidate for implant

I have taken 20 to 35m per day for over 20 years for back pain due to every procedure Dr's. Tried did not work. I've tried all of them. I still have some pain,but it gives me better quality of life than crying with pain I can't h a idle. Percocet 5 is better for me than 10m because I can take it more iften

I had zero problems with
5-325mg of Oxycodone (Percaset). I could drive. I did not feel woozy. It helped take the edge off of my pain. Now that is just me. Everybody can react differently to the drug. If you are going to start taking it, make sure you stay at home and don’t drive, until you see how you feel. Good luck!

@jlk12 I have taken Percocet for a number of years at larger doses than 5 mg and have never had a problem driving

@jackiet many of us can drive without a problem. I had a male friend who said he was glad he only needed Percocet for a couple of weeks. He said he could barely function on it. (He was a big guy) I think he was on 10mg. That is why I said everybody is different in how the meds affect them.
